AKORT: the minimum cost of the "Olivier" salad has increased by 2.1% over the year

The minimum cost of products for preparing four servings of Olivier salad in major retail chains has increased by 2.1% over the year, to 363 rubles, according to a monitoring by the analytical center of the Association of Retail Companies (AKORT). This sum includes potatoes, pickled cucumbers, eggs, cooked sausage, canned peas, onions, carrots, and mayonnaise. The calculations took into account the prices of the most affordable "first-price" products. The moderate increase in the cost of the dish was facilitated by a decrease in prices for seasonal vegetables, eggs, and mayonnaise. Potatoes have become cheaper by 31% over the year, onions by 22%, carrots by 19%, eggs by 14%, and mayonnaise by 13%, analysts compared. However, canned peas (+22%), pickled cucumbers (+14%), and cooked sausage (+2%) have become more expensive.
