Agropecuaria GPSA has entered into a 20-year agreement with the Paraguayan State to lease Estancia Pedernal, a 25,000-hectare property, for rice production. The company will also expand its Estancia 7 Puntas site by 3,000 hectares, of which 7,000 hectares will be dedicated to rice cultivation. This makes GPSA one of the largest rice production companies globally. The agreement marks a significant collaboration between the private and public sectors in Paraguay's agricultural sector.
