Analytics: Export prices for Russian wheat have decreased

Demand prices for Russian wheat with 12.5% protein for August delivery decreased to $237/t FOB (-$3/t). Prices for French wheat weakened to $232/t (-$2/t), for Romanian wheat to $238/t (-$7/t), for Australian wheat to $255/t (-$1/t), and for American wheat to $216/t (-$3/t). Prices for Argentine wheat remained unchanged at $232/t. The price decrease occurred against the backdrop of accelerated harvesting in Russia and Ukraine, an increase in the supply of new crop grain, and the absence of major tenders. According to preliminary data, Turkey purchased 225 thousand tons of barley at $233.80-237.20 C&F and $237.90-245/t EX-Antrepo (equivalent to $231.9-239/t C&F). Converted to FOB Novorossiysk, the price was approximately $217-220/t. The export price for Russian barley remained at $215/t FOB.
