APK-Inform lowers forecast for Ukraine's wheat production, raises corn production expectations

APK-Inform has reduced its forecast for Ukraine's sunflower seed production in 2025 by 800,000 tons, from the previously predicted 14.6 million tons to 13.8 million tons. As a result, sunflower oil production is also expected to decrease from 6.2 million tons to 5.9 million tons. The forecast for rapeseed production in 2025 has been reduced by 160,000 tons to 3.0 million tons. The forecast for soybean production has been reduced by 400,000 tons from the previous 6.2 million tons to 5.8 million tons. More importantly, the forecast for soybean exports in 2025/26 has been significantly reduced by 970,000 tons, from 3.66 million tons to 2.69 million tons.
