The Ministry of Agriculture and Food has launched the acceptance of applications for support under the intervention "Cooperation for Short Supply Chains" from the Strategic Plan for the Development of Agriculture and Rural Areas 2023-2027. The budget for the intervention is 9.5 million euros, and the maximum amount of costs for one project is up to 300,000 euros. The aim of the support is to create conditions for farmers to participate with their products at farmers' markets, ensure better traceability of the origin of food and its quality, as well as a fairer price for production that goes directly to the producers. With the envisaged budget, it will be possible to support the activities of over 50 associations, with the participation of at least 200 farmers from across the country.
