The Federal Center for Animal Health Protection (FSBI “ARRIAH” of Rosselkhoznadzor) has supplied 2.8 million doses of foot-and-mouth disease vaccines to Pakistan in February 2024, with an additional 2.8 million doses set to be shipped in April. This is part of a three-year agreement with the UN Food and Agriculture Organization to supply at least 6 million doses annually. The initiative aims to control and eradicate foot-and-mouth disease in Pakistan, providing benefits to farmers, livestock breeders, and the country's economy.
