Biodiesel production in Brazil is expected to grow by 6.3% in 2026, reaching 10.5 billion liters with the adoption of the B15 blend, according to an estimate by the consultancy StoneX. The advancement reinforces the importance of soybean oil in the national energy matrix and highlights the role of states such as Goiás and Paraná, which are consolidating themselves as protagonists in the production and allocation of the grain for biofuel. Together, they form the base of the chain that supports the country's energy transition and decarbonization goals.
