In July, Brazil's chicken meat exports saw a 7.3% increase from the previous year, reaching 463.6 thousand tons and generating revenue of US$889.2 million, a 3.6% increase from the same period in the previous year. Despite a slight decrease in year-to-date exports by 0.3% to 3.052 million tons, the accumulated revenue for the first seven months of the year was 8.33% lower than the previous year at US$5.525 billion. China and Japan were the top two importers in July, with significant increases in imports. Paraná remained the leading state in chicken meat exports, followed by Santa Catarina and Rio Grande do Sul. The Ministry of Agriculture's role in lifting embargoes and the decrease in competition from the USA are contributing to the positive outlook for Brazilian chicken meat exports in the coming months.
