Brazil's coffee exports saw a significant decrease of 42% in February, with shipments totaling 2,040 million bags, a marked decline from the 3,471 million bags exported in the same period last year, as reported by the Foreign Trade Secretariat (Secex). This decrease is attributed to the shorter month and the Carnival holiday. The revenue from these exports also fell to US$ 434,301.7 from US$ 828,171.6 in February of the previous year. The global coffee market is currently experiencing volatility due to fluctuating production estimates, with Brazil, a key producer, facing weather challenges for the past three years. The reduction in Brazil's shipment numbers is anticipated to provide support to price levels until the arrival of the new Brazilian crop.
