Brazil has the potential to lead sustainable agribusiness

Brazil has unique conditions to assume global leadership in sustainable agriculture at a time when the topic is losing momentum in developed countries, such as the United States. This assessment is from Dhanush Dinesh, founder and chief climate catalyst of Clim-Eat, an international organization that advocates for climate-smart agriculture. According to him, the country combines scientific capacity and productive structure with the potential to scale solutions on a large scale, which places it in a strategic position in climate discussions. Dinesh is one of the hosts of the Global CSA Conference, held in Brasília by Clim-Eat in partnership with the Ministries of Agriculture of Brazil and the Netherlands and the University of Brasília (UnB).
