Brazilian exports of soybean grains are expected to reach 7 million tons in October, according to a weekly survey by the National Association of Cereal Exporters (Anec). In the same month last year, shipments were 4.435 million tons, while in September this year they totaled 6.973 million tons.
According to the consultancy Safras & Mercado, in the week ending October 25, Brazil shipped 1.347 million tons. For the period between October 26 and November 1, Anec estimates exports of 1.832 million tons.
In the case of soybean meal, the forecast for shipments in October is 2.079 million tons, down from 2.455 million tons in the same month of 2024. In September, exports totaled 1.962 million tons. Last week, shipments of meal were 451.508 thousand tons, and the expectation for the current week is 485.870 thousand tons.
