Brazil has taken a strategic step to consolidate itself as a global benchmark in agricultural sustainability and the fight against climate change. Announced this Thursday (23), the creation of the Network of Intelligence in Agriculture and Climate (Riac) is an independent alliance that brings together the main research centers and think tanks in the sector, with the aim of guiding public policies and promoting the transition to regenerative tropical agriculture (ATR) — a model that combines productivity, environmental conservation, and social inclusion. Among the institutions that are part of the network are Agroicone, FDC Agroambiental, FGV Agro, Insper Agro Global, Instituto Equilíbrio, and the Environmental Research Institute of the Amazon (Ipam).
