Brazil's swine production and exports ended 2023 on a positive note, and the trend is expected to continue in 2024 according to the projections by the Brazilian Animal Protein Association (ABPA). The country's pork production is projected to increase by up to 2.3% in 2024, reaching 5.1 million tons, with exports expected to increase by up to 8.9% to 1.22 million tons. The domestic market is expected to remain stable with a per capita consumption of around 18 kilos per inhabitant.
