Brazil's live cattle exports have seen a significant increase, reaching 718.3 thousand in the year to September, a notable rise from the 582 thousand heads exported in all of 2023. This figure marks the largest since 2018 and is projected to surpass 1 million heads, as per the consulting firm Agrifatto. The Middle East, particularly Turkey, Egypt, Lebanon, and Jordan, is the primary market for these exports, accounting for over 90% of sales. Pará state is the largest contributor to these exports, followed by Rio Grande do Sul.
