The United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) forecasts a significant increase in Brazil's orange juice production for the 2020/21 season, projected to reach 1.2 million tons, marking a 20% rise from the previous cycle. This increase is attributed to a higher volume of available oranges for processing. As the world's leading producer of juice, Brazil is expected to contribute approximately 75% to global exports. In contrast, orange juice production in the United States is anticipated to decline by 16% to 250,000 tons due to a reduction in the volume of oranges available for processing.
