Agribusiness consultancy Agroconsult predicts that Brazil's soybean crop will reach a record 161.6 million tonnes in 2023/24, despite weather challenges limiting production. Although unfavorable weather in central northern Brazil will cause a 7.6 million tonne decrease in this season's harvest, overall production will still exceed the previous cycle's amount. Additionally, Agroconsult forecasts that Brazil's soybean exports will reach a record 101.1 million tonnes in 2023, and total soybean production in Brazil, Argentina, Paraguay, Bolivia, and Uruguay will increase to 228.6 million tonnes in 2023/24.
