Brazilian farmers in the center-south region have harvested 63% of their second corn crop for the 2024 cycle, up from 49% the previous week. The pace is higher than the 26% seen a year earlier due to dry weather and above-average temperatures. The states of Mato Grosso and Parana are leading the field work. Brazil's second corn crop, which accounts for about 75% of the country's annual production, is planted after soybeans are harvested.
