The Ministry of Agriculture and Livestock (Mapa) participated, between September 29 and October 1, in a series of events at the headquarters of the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) in Rome. The Brazilian delegation was led by the Secretary of Trade and International Relations, Luís Rua, and included the Brazilian agricultural attaché to the FAO, Fernanda Magalhães; the Director of Animal Health, Marcelo Mota; the General Coordinator of the SDR, Bruno Leite; and the researcher Alexandre Morais do Amaral. During the mission, Brazil reinforced its commitment to sustainability, food security, and the international trade of agricultural products.
