During the International Organization of Vine and Wine's 100th anniversary meeting in Brescia, Italy, Bulgarian Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Food, Alexander Yotsev, showcased the distinctive attributes of Bulgarian wines, which blend traditional practices with contemporary technologies. The event, attended by representatives from 31 countries, focused on addressing the wine industry's challenges such as climate change, technological evolution, and shifting market dynamics. Yotsev stressed Bulgaria's advantageous geographical position, its diverse grape variety gene pool, and the critical role of international collaboration and standards in boosting Bulgaria's global wine market competitiveness.
