Russia's turkey exports are projected to double by 2030, reaching 60 thousand tons, according to Anatoly Velmatov, the executive director of the National Association of Turkey Producers (NAPI. In 2025, exports are expected to hit 35 thousand tons, up from 27 thousand tons in the previous year. China is the primary market for these exports, accounting for 60% of the total. The annual growth rate in turkey farming has been around 15-20% for the past 12 years but has recently slowed down. Russia has not imported significant amounts of turkey meat since 2017. The production of hatching eggs in the country is also on the rise, with an expected increase to 38 million units by the end of 2025.
