According to the weekly analysis of the Mato Grosso Institute of Agricultural Economics (Imea), released this Monday (6), the participation of steers in the total number of bulls slaughtered in September 2025 was the highest in the historical series in the state. Mato Grosso recorded the slaughter of 656,310 bovine heads, which represents a 0.67% contraction compared to August. The participation of bulls was 55.97%, the highest percentage in the last 11 months. In total, there were 367,370 bulls slaughtered, the third highest volume ever recorded. Among the animals slaughtered, steers aged 12 to 24 months represented 59.83% of the total number of bulls, with 219,780 heads, making it the second highest volume in the historical series. According to Imea, "this scenario reflects the higher presence of bulls in confinement, which increased the state's supply." ...
