BPS data states that Indonesia's rice production reached 34.77 million tons! The increase was 13.54 percent from the previous year. Indonesia is recorded as the country with the second-highest production increase in the world. In fact, according to the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA), Indonesia ranks 1st in ASEAN. This means that Indonesia is not only self-sufficient but also the largest producer in Southeast Asia. At the ASEAN level, we deserve the title of "Rice Champion."
