Chile is expected to export 63,780,328 boxes of grapes in the 2023/24 season, a 5.4% increase from the previous year, with new grape varieties accounting for 63% of exports. The growth in exports is attributed to the increase in production of new varieties, which is in line with the goal of having 70% of total exports being new varieties in the next two years. The United States is the main export destination for Chilean grapes, followed by Asia, Europe, and other regions. The white grape variety showed the fastest growth, with an increase of 16% compared to the previous season. Chile is also seeking cooperation with Peru to increase grape consumption through joint promotions in markets such as the United States, China, South Korea, Germany, and the UK.
