According to ICEX-Estacom data, throughout the first quarter of 2025, Spain exported 875,522 tons of meat and meat products with a total value of 2,952 million euros.

This represents a growth of 1.6% in exported quantity and 4.6% in obtained value. It should be noted that there has been a drop in intra-community trade: -8% in quantity (450,472 t) and -7% in value (1,669 million euros). This leaves sales in the EU at 51% in quantity and 56.5% in value, with a changing trend compared to 2024 when they were 53.2% in quantity and 63.6% in value. Evolution by Categories Performance varied by type of meat and product. In pork, stability was seen, completing the quarter with 672,950 t exported (+1%), with a stable value of 1,816.3 million euros. Spanish meat sales are highly concentrated in this product, as in the analyzed period they account for 77% of exported quantity and 61.5% of total value.
