Between January and September 2025, China imported 780 thousand tons of pork, a number similar to the previous year (790 thousand tons in 2024), but representing a 76% drop compared to the same period in 2020, when imports reached 3.28 million tons. On the contrary, imports of offal, although they have also decreased over these years, have remained more stable. In the first nine months of 2025, 920 thousand tons were imported, 11.5% less than in 2020 (1.04 million tons) and practically the same as in 2024 (930 thousand tons).
