Chungnam Agricultural Research Institute Mobilizes Full Technical Support for Food Crops and Ginger Crops Damaged by Heavy Rainfall

The Chungnam Agricultural Research and Extension Services (Director Kim Young) announced on the 22nd that they are focusing all efforts on emergency post-management technical support and pest control for rice, soybean, and ginger crops to prevent the spread of agricultural damage caused by recent heavy rainfall. In the recent heavy rainfall, 14,944 hectares of rice and 1,381 hectares of soybeans were submerged in 15 cities and counties in the province, with some farmlands experiencing loss and burial damage.
