The coffee market temporarily halted trading on April 20, with Vietnam's domestic coffee prices at VND129,600/kg and Robusta and Arabica prices at USD5,253/ton and USD8,280/ton respectively for May 2025 delivery. The US reciprocal tax impact caused prices on the London exchange to hit a 4-month low. Despite this, the Vietnam Coffee - Cocoa Association reported a record high average export price of Robusta at USD5,415/ton in the first 15 days of April. Vietnam's green coffee exports, including Arabica and decaffeinated coffee, totaled 79,163 tons, with an export turnover of over 437.73 million USD, marking an 8.5% increase in volume and 68.8% increase in value year-on-year. Robusta coffee made up the majority of exports, with a turnover of over 390.27 million USD.
