Coffee producing countries imported 2.35 million bags of Cafés do Brasil in 2023

In the accumulated total of 12 months, specifically in the period from January to December 2023, seventeen countries producing the two species of coffee cultivated and sold in the world, Coffea arabica (Arabica coffee) and Coffea canephora (robosa coffee + conilon coffee), imported one physical volume equivalent to 2.35 million 60kg bags of Cafés do Brasil. In relation to the same previous period in 2022, such imports from competitors of the Brazilian product registered an increase of 15.8%. In this context, it is worth highlighting in this analysis which were the six main countries, in this case, as they are also coffee producers, which acquired Cafés do Brasil, in the accumulated total for the year 2023, obviously to supply their own internal consumption and/or carry out their respective exports to traditional import markets.
