Conab holds electronic auction for corn transportation

The Companhia Nacional de Abastecimento (Conab) is holding an electronic auction this Tuesday (4) to contract transportation services for 16,001 tons of bulk corn linked to public stocks. The auction will be held starting at 9 a.m. through the Conab Electronic Commercialization System (Siscoe), with interconnection of the Cereals, Commodities, and/or Futures Exchanges. The operation aims to supply the Over-the-Counter Sales Program (ProVB), which offers corn at wholesale prices to small rural producers. According to Conab, the goal is to facilitate access to the cereal and support the maintenance of smaller-scale livestock activities. The loads are located in the municipalities of Ipiranga do Norte and Sinop, in Mato Grosso, and Bom Jesus de Goiás.
