Cotton processing advances, and exports gain momentum

With the processing of 2024/25 lint cotton already over halfway, the pace of exports of the commodity has been gaining strength in October. This is what surveys from the Center for Advanced Studies in Applied Economics (Cepea) show. Calculations from the institute show that if the current performance of Brazilian shipments continues until the end of the month, the volume may be the highest since the beginning of this year, surpassing 300,000 tons.
