The international cotton scenario is marked by uncertainties related to the tariff measures adopted by the United States government. Nevertheless, the projection is for an expansion of Brazilian exports, with an expectation of surpassing 3 million tons in 2026. Until September of this year, exports totaled 1.88 million tons, and the total volume is expected to reach 2.9 million tons by the end of 2025. The domestic demand had been showing signs of recovery with the performance of the textile sector, but it presented a contraction at the end of the first semester, reducing acquisitions.
