By Juliana Garçon Rio, 09/12/2025 - The Securities and Exchange Commission (CVM) has extended until January 23, 2026, the deadline for suggestions and comments on the public consultation aimed at the rules for emissions through crowdfunding. The original deadline would have ended on December 23, 2025. The consultation brings a proposal for a new rule to replace CVM Resolution 88, which governs public offerings of distribution of securities issued by small business companies, carried out without registration through electronic participatory investment platforms (investment crowdfunding).
