In mid-October, Poland experienced significant increases in dairy product prices compared to previous weeks and months. Butter in blocks rose to PLN 33.32/kg, marking a 2% weekly and 6% monthly increase, with a 45% rise from last year. Packaged butter reached PLN 36.04/kg, slightly up from the previous week and 36.5% higher than last year. Skimmed milk powder was PLN 10.73/kg, up 1% from the previous week but down 1% from a month ago, while whole milk powder increased by 5% weekly to PLN 19.83/kg, 10% higher than a month ago and 25% more than last year. Edam cheese was PLN 21.41/kg, 4% higher than the previous week and 5% more than a month ago, whereas Gouda cheese was PLN 21.46/kg, 1% higher than the previous week but 2% cheaper than last year.
