The XV Annual International Wine Tourism Conference (IWINETC) was inaugurated in Plovdiv, Bulgaria, by Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Food Alexander Yotsev, who underscored the significance of wine and culinary tourism in boosting the economic development of the country's rural areas. The Ministry is actively supporting the viticulture sector through investments, modernization efforts, and the implementation of national and European policies aimed at improving the market presence of Bulgarian wines and culinary products. Yotsev highlighted the government's commitment to promoting the sector by participating in international exhibitions and introducing new legislation and signage for wine destinations. The conference, which attracts professionals from over 50 countries, serves as a platform for establishing partnerships and exchanging sustainable practices and marketing strategies.
