The country, being the world leader in dried fig production and export, has successfully increased its exports by collaborating with various stakeholders and implementing measures to ensure quality and prevent contamination. The sector aims to further increase its exports to $300 million in the 2024-2025 season. There has been a notable increase in exports to the American continent and Far Eastern countries in the past decade. In the 2023-2024 season, the United States was the leading market for Turkish dried figs, with an export of $59.37 million.
