Inflation in Turkey has led to a significant increase in the prices of fruits, with tangerines and apples seeing over 300% increase year-on-year. The economic crisis has made it difficult for less affluent consumers to afford basic food products. Meanwhile, in Poland, despite high inflation, apple producers are receiving less money for their fruit due to an oversupply and lack of markets. The Central Statistical Office calculated the inflation in Poland in November at 17.4%, but independent calculations put it at over 40%.
