Egyptian exports to Iraq include furniture, cotton spinning, pasta, medicines, and petroleum products, among others, while imports from Iraq were predominantly chocolate and cocoa products, with a 96% decrease to $4.968 million. The economic and trade relations between Egypt and Iraq are governed by various agreements and are focused on industrial and agricultural investment, energy, tourism, and construction. Iraq's investment in Egypt reaches approximately $490 million, with 3,329 companies operating in Egypt. The first visit of an Egyptian president to Iraq in three decades signifies the strong historical relations and the commitment to further develop these ties.
