REPUBLICA.CO.ID, JAKARTA -- Minister of Agriculture Andi Amran Sulaiman admonished 136 distributors and retailers who still require farmers' cards to redeem subsidized fertilizer. He requested that this requirement be stopped immediately as the official requirement is now just using a KTP (Indonesian identity card). The Minister of Agriculture emphasized that this action is part of the supervision of fertilizer distribution ahead of the planting season. All parties who continue to impose additional requirements are asked to correct their practices and facilitate farmers' access to subsidized fertilizer according to the regulations. "Then the second thing is, there are still 136 of our brothers from all over Indonesia who are prohibiting or making it difficult to redeem fertilizer using a KTP.
