Despite challenges like unauthorized animal movements and inadequate veterinary facilities, the country has seen a 45% reduction in unfavorable incidents over the past five months, with 22 eliminations and ongoing veterinary measures for the rest. Strict regulations and restrictions on animal imports are also in place to prevent the spread of pathogens, with limitations on imports from various countries to ensure animal and public health.
