In the first half of 2021, Russia saw a 20% increase in dairy product exports, reaching 110 thousand tons. The main importers were Kazakhstan, Ukraine, and Belarus, with significant increases in imports. The United States also increased its imports from Russia by 3.9 times, primarily due to an increase in ice cream exports. Revenue from these exports grew by 25% to $ 177 million. Cheese and cottage cheese exports increased by 26% to 15 thousand tons, generating $ 50 million in revenue. Ice cream exports also saw a 45% increase, reaching $ 42 million with an export volume of 16 thousand tons.
