The export of leguminous crops from Russia in 2021 increased by 38% compared to the figure for 2020 and amounted to 1.6 million tons. This is stated in the materials of the federal center "Agroexport" under the Ministry of Agriculture of the Russian Federation. “According to the results of last year, Russian exporters supplied to foreign markets of legumes in the amount of $693 million, which is 97% more than in 2020. In physical terms, the volume of deliveries reached a historical record of 1.6 million tons. This is 38% higher than in 2020 and 18% ahead of the previous maximum set in 2018. According to Agroexport, the growth driver was the sale of dried peas, shipments of which increased by 64%, up to 1.2 million tons in physical volume and 2.2 times - up to $378 million in money terms.
