Exportation of Peruvian flowers grew by 17% between January and September

Peruvian flower exports abroad amounted to $9,157,000 between January and September of this year, achieving an increase of 17% compared to the same period last year, when they reached $7,855,000, reported the Association of Exporters (ADEX). Claudia Solano Oré, the manager of Agroexports of the business association, highlighted the good performance due to the high demand throughout the year, especially on special dates such as Mother's Day and Valentine's Day celebrations. "From ADEX we continue to promote strategic actions in favor of the strengthening of floriculture with the objective of expanding our offer to more markets. One of them is the lifting of sanitary barriers, whose work is led by the National Agrarian Health Service (SENASA)," she commented.
