Argentina's exports to Brazil experienced a 91.8% increase year-on-year in June, amounting to USD 973 million, marking the sixth consecutive increase, though imports also rose by 70.7%, leading to a trade deficit of USD 57 million for Argentina. The bilateral trade between the two countries reached USD 2,003 million in June, a 80.3% increase from 2020, with the trade flow increasing by 49.1% year-on-year to USD 11,051 million in the first half of the year. The growth in Argentina's exports is primarily due to motor vehicles, unmilled wheat, and rye, while imports were driven by passenger cars, parts, and accessories for motor vehicles. Argentina ranked third among Brazil's largest suppliers and third among its main buyers.
