A conference was held to discuss the online trade of Vietnamese dragon fruit to India and Pakistan. The fruit is identified as Vietnam's first competitive advantage among 11 fruits and a key export product. In 2019-2020, Vietnam's dragon fruit export turnover to India reached US$ 9.86 million. The Pakistani market also has potential with a population of over 200 million. Vietnamese businesses are advised to develop high-quality planting areas and create market demand in Pakistan. Products must have labels in Urdu and English, the logo of the Halal certification body, and a certificate of compliance with Islamic standards.
