From January to July 2024, Tajikistan's fishery had an output value of 48.4 million somoni (approximately 4.532 million US dollars), with a total production of 1,798.9 tons. The report by the Khovar State News Agency in Dushanbe highlighted that the production included various species such as silver carp, carp, trout, and grass carp.
