Gangjin County (County Mayor Kang Jin-won) has achieved the milestone of winning an encouragement award for the 20th consecutive year in the '2025 Jeollanam-do Top 10 High-Quality Brand Rice Evaluation'. This achievement is assessed as the result of multifaceted efforts to secure global competitiveness, including continuous quality improvement of Gangjin rice, enhancement of brand image, and expansion of exports. The evaluation was conducted under the auspices of Jeollanam-do to ensure fairness and objectivity, with taste evaluation, appearance quality, variety mixing rate, mechanical quality, and safety inspections entrusted to four professional analysis institutions including the Korea Food Research Institute, National Agricultural Products Quality Management Service, Agricultural Technology Institute, and Health and Environment Research Institute.
