Gangwon Agricultural Technology Institute Holds Collaborative Pest Control Consultation Meeting

The Gangwon Special Self-Governing Province Agricultural Technology Institute held a collaborative pest control business consultation meeting for 2025 on the 15th at its main office. At the meeting, attended by 25 officials from agricultural and forestry-related organizations in the province, participants shared the current status of outbreak pests in agricultural and forest areas, pest control technologies, and forest sector pest response plans, and conducted practical consultations for effective collaborative pest control. According to the Agricultural Technology Institute's overwintering egg survey, three types of outbreak pests—brown-winged leafhopper, spotted lanternfly, and gypsy moth—are expected to occur across 438.4 hectares of farmland this year.
