"I learned to celebrate what she can do and not lament over what she cannot do," says Germán Weiss, referring to his daughter Daniela who, at 38 years old, with left-side hemiparesis and developmental delay, works on administrative matters for the family business, Pago Viejo. Weiss is a veterinarian, with a vast and prolific career within AACREA. For the past three years, he has been undergoing a generational transition, with his two sons taking over the business, which is a concern and occupation for many in small and medium-sized agricultural enterprises. Weiss was born and raised in La Plata (a passionate fan of "Pincha"), but since the mid-80s, his heart has been in América, where he runs Pago Viejo.
