Bulgaria is partnering with Bangladesh to export Bulgarian wheat, with support from the Ministry of Agriculture and the National Association of Grain Producers. The country is also aiding Bangladesh in dairy production and planning to establish a sunflower oil factory. In January, a Bulgarian delegation will visit Bangladesh to establish contacts. Bangladesh is a regular importer of Bulgarian grain, and Bulgaria imports rice from Vietnam. However, the pandemic has led to the freezing or dropping out of 85% of projects with China and Vietnam, mainly related to the distribution of essential oils and water, due to a lack of direct contact with trading partners.
