The Belgorod Region in Russia has managed to maintain its gross agricultural production at last year's level of 265.8 billion rubles despite the pandemic and challenging weather conditions. The region leads in Russia in terms of the productivity of each hectare of arable land and has seen a record harvest of cereals and legumes, producing over 4.5 million tons for the first time. Other regions such as Volgograd, Tambov, and the Kaliningrad region have also seen increased production and record harvests. Agricultural producers in the Trans-Baikal Territory have exported over 16 thousand tons of rapeseed to China, and a major Chinese agricultural producer in Henan Province has also reported a record grain harvest, marking a 1.9% increase.
